at a lot of cool events the next months, so lets have a look.First I have spoken last week at the System Center User Group Austria with my new Presentation about Custom Logs in OMS and Home automation.
The next will be System Center User Group Austria in Vienna at Mai 23rd 2017, there I will also present my OMS Session, hopefully without a damaged cloud : – ) http://www.scug.at/
The CDC Germany will be in Munich at 4th and 5th Mai 2017. This is the second time Carsten Rachfahl will organize this kind of event, so go ahead and get your tickets.

System Center Orchestrator should be the first Product to upgrade to 2016, so we also will start with SCO.
The Upgrade is straight forward and an easy one, but we have some pre-checks to make sure everything runs smooth.
First we will make a small Health Check to make sure SCO is doing fine, afterwards we proceed with our Backups followed by uninstall 2012 R2 and Installing 2016.
Lets go.
We normally use the “Orchestrator Health Checker” to get a quick overview of our environment. You an download the small Tool here: http://scorch.codeplex.com/releases/view/99063
So take a look at your running and queued Runbooks and make sure nothing important is sill running or not to many Runbooks are in Queue.
After we have made sure that our SCO is healthy, we can take the next step.

Microsoft released the Update Rollup 9 for System Center 2012 R2.
Update Rollup 9 contains Fixes and Updates for SCDPM, SPF, VMM, Windows Azure Pack.
As we know, there is the possibility that the actual Update Rollup can contain some Bugs, so maybe wait a few days to install, or try it on a Test Environment.
